Playtech, a top global gaming technology provider, has formed a strategic alliance with Novomatic Americas, a fully owned division of Novomatic AG, Europe’s largest VLT provider. This collaboration builds upon a long-standing connection between Playtech and Novomatic, with the two entities operating over 10,000 self-service machines worldwide.
The strategic partnership will see Playtech’s sports betting self-service betting terminal (SSBT) system offered through Novomatic’s ActionBook, a well-known sports betting self-service machine in the American market. ActionBook already serves businesses like DraftKings and Penn National, functioning in 49 different locations across 11 states in the US. The partnership will also see the two companies jointly promote Playtech’s mobile sports betting and player account management (PAM) software to potential customers.
The agreement is the most recent deal for Playtech since entering the American market last year, with the company already providing services to Bet365 and Entain in New Jersey.
Playtech has joined forces with Parx Casino in various states, including Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Jonathan Doubilet, Playtech’s leading figure in the US, stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Novomatic once more and provide a comprehensive sports wagering experience in these regions. This alliance will furnish players with an exceptional experience and demonstrates Playtech’s ability to partner with top-tier companies in the rapidly expanding American market.”
Rick Meitzler, the head of Novomatic Americas, chimed in, “We are delighted to expand our partnership with Playtech and integrate their sports betting tools into our Novomatic ActionBook. We believe Playtech’s extensive international experience will make ActionBook the most sought-after sports betting platform in the US.”
