The Biloxi Hard Rock Gaming House, under the ownership of Twin River Worldwide Holdings, welcomed guests once more on the twenty-first of May. This follows the reopening of other significant gambling establishments in Mississippi that have resumed operations after the COVID-19 shutdown.

Mississippi, alongside Louisiana, was among the first states to permit casinos to reopen their doors. However, they were required to adhere to new rules designed to curb the spread of the virus. These included operating at a reduced capacity and encouraging social distancing within the gambling halls.

According to the Mississippi Gaming Commission, casinos are only permitted to operate at half their usual capacity. Slot machines and table games have been repositioned to allow for a safe distance between patrons.
