The Digital Isle of Man, a governmental organization set up to boost the digital industry’s expansion, has declared the selection of Chris Kissack as the newly formed Esports Head.

Kissack will officially begin his position on August 3rd, where he will be in charge of the agency’s upcoming esports undertaking.

Kissack comes from his position as Esports Specialist at Amber Gaming, where he oversaw tournament prize pool allocation and safeguarded the rights of esports competitors.

“I am eager to continue my efforts to improve the island’s standing in esports,” stated Kissack. “I am thrilled to join the agency and collaborate with local enterprises and organizations to carry out the Isle of Man’s esports plan, embrace this thriving sector, and help it flourish to benefit the island.”

Lyle Wraxall, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Isle of Man, added: “I am pleased to welcome Chris to the team; finding the appropriate individual to lead this new and exhilarating project for the island was essential.”

Chriss experience, skill, and enthusiasm for the Isle of Man esports proposition make him the ideal candidate for the role.
