Allwyn is preparing to assume control of the UK National Lottery, introducing a refreshed executive team. Andria Vidler, an experienced leader known for her roles at prominent organizations like Tag Worldwide and EMI Music, will take on the position of CEO beginning October 1st. Joining her is Alan Artz, the incoming CFO, who contributes extensive financial knowledge to the organization.
This leadership shift aims to guarantee a seamless handover of the National Lottery under Allwyn’s guidance. Robert Chvátal, Allwyn’s present CEO, voiced absolute faith in the new UK team, emphasizing their commitment to amplifying the positive impact the lottery has on communities throughout the country. He anticipates collaborating with Vidler and the remaining new leadership in the future.
Camelots present co-chief executive officers, Neil Brocklehurst and Clare Swindell, will be leaving their positions following a transition phase to assist their replacements and the staff. Chvátal also stated: “I would like to express my gratitude to Clare, Neil, and the entire Camelot leadership group for their commitment to The National Lottery throughout the years.”
Allwyn is set to assume control of the UK National Lottery in February 2024. The organization has finalized its purchase of the existing operator, Camelot UK Lotteries Limited – the personnel will now integrate into Allwyn’s UK lottery activities.
