Enhanced Cooperative, a Danish sports wagering giant, is making a significant push into the American market. They recently acquired the final 40% of RotoGrinders, a prominent fantasy sports and sports wagering media platform, for a substantial $38 million. This follows Enhanced Cooperative’s initial acquisition of a 60% share back in 2019.

This agreement cements Enhanced Cooperative’s dedication to dominating the rapidly growing US sports betting landscape. RotoGrinders, renowned for its extensive and devoted community of fantasy sports aficionados, provides them with direct access to a vast pool of potential gamblers.

The original creators of RotoGrinders are remaining onboard, demonstrating their confidence in Enhanced Cooperative’s strategic direction. They will play a crucial role in merging RotoGrinders into the Enhanced Cooperative organization and utilizing their knowledge to succeed in the US market.

This action originally granted Better Collective a 60% ownership in the business, which has seen extraordinary expansion since then.

RotoGrinders’ revenue more than doubled from 2019 to 2021, while its EBITDA increased by a factor of 4.4, resulting in a 109% compound yearly growth rate. This remarkable success prompted the Danish media conglomerate to expedite its plan and purchase 100% of RotoGrinders sooner than expected.

Marc Pedersen, CEO of Better Collective US, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are delighted to finalize the complete acquisition of the RotoGrinders Network ahead of schedule. Since our first investment, the RotoGrinders team has wowed us with their results, and we are happy to officially welcome them into the larger Better Collective family. We are eager to leverage all of the synergies that this merger will bring.”
