A major force in the online sports wagering industry, Catena Media, has broadened its presence into Vermont. This action follows the state’s recent authorization of legal sports gambling.

Vermont permitted three providers – DraftKings, Fanatics, and FanDuel – to initiate their platforms on January 11th. Catena Media had preexisting collaborations with two of these industry leaders, facilitating their seamless entry into the state.

In conjunction with this debut, Catena Media has introduced Vermont-focused material across its national brands. They have partnered with media outlets like NJ.com and The Sporting News to deliver extensive reporting on the sports wagering landscape in Vermont.

Vermont, possessing a comparatively small populace of roughly half a million adults, was the final state in New England to legitimize online sports gambling. It represents the first North American market to open in 2024, with North Carolina anticipated to follow in the upcoming months.

This expansion establishes Vermont as the latest addition to Catena Media’s North American portfolio. The company now functions in more than 28 states and provinces throughout the US and Canada.
