The administration declared that the novel limitations, which became effective on April 8, 2022, aspire to safeguard susceptible demographics and signify a substantial advancement from prior regional legislation. While the statutory deadline for the machine alterations is the conclusion of 2024, officials are advocating for a swifter implementation, as the archipelago possesses approximately 5,000 slot machines in operation.
