188Bet has returned to the Philippines! This signifies a substantial endorsement of the nation’s gaming sector, which faced significant challenges under the previous government.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) expresses great enthusiasm for their comeback, particularly as they establish operations in Makati. This action demonstrates the Philippines’ commitment to fostering a secure and appealing atmosphere for gaming enterprises.

PAGCOR’s leader, Alejandro H. Tengco, interprets this as an indication that the Philippines is reclaiming its position as a prominent participant in the international gaming arena. He aims to convey to 188Bet and other prospective investors that PAGCOR prioritizes impartiality, openness, and equitable opportunities for all.

Commencing on March 19th, 188Bet will function under a newly formed Philippine entity named BestCommerce Corporation, which possesses full licensing and regulation from PAGCOR. This sends a clear message to the sector that the Philippines is receptive to business and prepared to welcome back investors.

The head of PAGCOR forecasts consistent expansion for the Philippine gaming sector over the coming five years, anticipating a minimum of one new Integrated Resort (IR) launch each year. Quezon City is poised to be the inaugural location, succeeded by Cebu, Clark, and other desirable spots.

Simultaneously, PAGCOR aims to fully relinquish its casino holdings within the same period. This strategic move will enable them to reposition the organization, concentrating on supervising industry development and enticing further capital influx.
