Continent 8 Technologies, an international network solutions company based in the Isle of Man, is increasing its presence within the United States. Already a significant provider of data center services across North America, Continent 8 is introducing backup site functionalities in five new regions: Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, and Puerto Rico.

This action is part of Continent 8’s broader plan to deliver robust business continuity and secondary site options throughout the US, guaranteeing companies can sustain operations even during unexpected circumstances. These new sites will be especially beneficial to online gaming providers, as they offer a clear route to conformity with potential upcoming regulations in these states.

Beyond these new markets, Continent 8 is also enhancing its in-state infrastructure capacities in several existing areas, including Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Atlantic City (New Jersey), and Pennsylvania.

Justin Cosnett, Chief Product Officer at Continent 8, highlighted the significance of this growth: “Data center resilience is critical for infrastructure planning. We recognize that state regulators desire to see licensed operators utilizing resilient and dependable services. Our products are engineered to leverage our diverse MPLS network, enabling operators and suppliers to incorporate disaster recovery, backups, and even real-time backup capabilities for continuous uptime.”

Landmass Eight presents a distinct external data protection service for internet-based gaming enterprises managing numerous sites within one jurisdiction. Their protected, publicly available cloud system guarantees customers can restore operations rapidly in the event of a disruption. This enables them to concentrate on their core competency – maintaining a thriving enterprise.
